This project is a
detached pool house with extensive design elements. There was a need for
an entertainment space, which also doubled as guest quarters as needed.
A plasma TV is mounted above the new fireplace, which is faced with El
Dorado stone. the custom cabinetry to the right conceals a Murphy bed
for the occasional guest. The custom retractable door system allows for
pool and canyon views and can be completely open in warmer weather or
closed in cooler. The ceiling is rough sawn, tongue and groove with
exposed beams. The floor is stained and polished concrete, perfect for
being adjacent to the pool. The family now prefers this room to any room
in the main house and say it’s like going on vacation when you leave the
main house and walk only twenty feet away.
