The owners of this 1930s
Spanish bungalow loved their location and the basic architectural
structure of their home, but wanted an updated family area as they
realized that this was where the majority of their time in the home was
spent. The dramatic redesign removed the existing outer wall, complete
with massive brick fireplace, and replaced it with a wall of moveable
glass which flows directly out to the new loggia and patio area,
complete with built in spa, fireplace and barbeque area. Without adding
any square footage to their existing home, these homeowners now delight
in their "added space".
