This is a master bath remodel that required maintaining the existing dimensions. The design concept came from the owner’s collection of “beach glass”, collected from beaches all over the world. All these glass pieces are kept in a large crystal urn and are central to the design. Lit from above, textures and colors from the glass collection are represented in glass tiles inset into a tile wainscot which wraps the space. An elegant hint of green, distilled from the glass tiles was chosen as the wall color and seems to connect the space with the region’s citrus and avocado groves just outside the new windows.
