2011 Best Outdoor Living
National Award Winner

Cast-in-place concrete slabs created a versatile patio, dog run and/or triple deep off-street parking. The side yard does triple duty in the summer as an outdoor thetre, projecting images on the east façade of the house. Rectilinear forms and patterns created by wood concrete slabs and translucent panels dictate different area functions. Fire and water features further define the space. Drought resistant landscaping, low voltage garden lighting, multiple fire features and a sheer-descent fountain that functions as a modern moat create a varied, yet cohesive outdoor living experience. The perimeter fence consists of steel columns with translucent poly-carbon panels that avoid creating a shaded, dark yard. A poly-carbon dog house that mimics the big house completes the composition.
