2016 Regional Award
Bath Remodel under $50,000

With a bathroom that was too narrow and cramped for two people to function, our clients came to us looking for help. They wanted a brighter space with room for both of them to use at the same time, if necessary, and they hoped to stay within the existing footprint of what they had. They also wanted the bathroom to fit the character of their 1920 home. The original shower wall was lowered to add a second glass wall which allowed more natural light to penetrate deep into the room, while still screening the toilet. With a little creative relocation and re-framing, we were able to visually open a narrow, cramped bathroom, and, in the end, our clients got a new, light-filled bathroom that looks and functions better for the both of them. As they said, “It’s better than we ever expected.
