2009 Regional Award
Bath Remodel $60,000

The kitchen, dining, and living areas had been remodeled once before, so now it was time to update the bath while still maintaining the character that had been predefined in the other parts of the home. A precedent of natural materials and comforting tones were used, something that was very important to recognize and implement into this small master bath. So an organic space with a very natural feel became the inspiration of this cozy bathroom. Earth tones, organic materials, and Asian-inspired fixtures helped bring a warmth and soothing feeling to this confined space; and by removing walls and enlarging the shower, this master bath turned into a personal spa without expanding the original floor plan.
