This
formidable architecturally significant home lacked a connected
kitchen/family space, family dining area and mudroom. Additionally, the
family hoped to remode the kitchen, kid’s bath ad laundry room as well
as create a home gym and new bedroom for their infant daughter. Working
with local architect Joe Metzler, Vujovich created and extensive,
three-story addition on a site that lacked accessibility due to site
requirements and extensive formal gardens that surround the home.
Possibly the most unique aspect of the project, a 3,500 lb indoor
resistance pool was craned up over formal gardens, past mature oak trees
and down into it’s own conditioned basement space.
