2006 Best Bath Remodel Over $50,000

This couple wanted an open, airy space as appealing to them as it would be to their children. But looks weren't enough. They also wanted room for work, play, and storage, not to mention display for their art and music collection. They also wanted the latest in media, including a 50Ó plasma screen and state of the art sound. Twin columns, (instead of the existing single one) now provide a gracious entry into the media room while supporting the necessary loads. A palette of maple, bamboo, and concrete make up the home theater's entertainment center. The project also included a temperature-controlled wine cellar, spacious game room, and a specialized storage area for everything from bird food to luggage, to the owner's multiple harps.
