2007 Bath Remodel $40,000 -
$60,000
The challenge was to turn
a poorly outfitted master bath into one comparable to a 5-star hotel
with elegance at every corner and increased storage space. The original
sauna and walls were removed to add space to the master closet. The tub
was removed and replaced with window seats to add a few square inches
back to foot traffic. The custom shower has as many waterspouts as the
area allows and a door was added between the toilet and shower to create
a separate water closet. The decorative niche was centered so that it
could be viewed while looking in the mirror. This enhances the feeling
of openness. The sinks are Oceana glass undermount bowls and the tiles
around it are Crossville’s Venetian Glass series. Alabaster Onyx was
used for the countertops. This semi-lucent material casts a beautiful
glow when backlit.
