This project took a small
one story house with a walk-out basement and added a 20’ X 18’living
room with screen porch, raised deck, and three separate smaller "bump
outs" and a two story bay. The entire house was gutted and re-designed
with a new custom kitchen, master bedroom & bath, half bath, new stairs
to the lower level, and new bedrooms in the lower level. In addition, an
archway and walk bridge was constructed to connect the house with the
existing garage. The primary challenge of this project was that the
framing on the original structure was so poor.
The owners were ecstatic, and even catered an extravagant party to thank
all those who participated…even the asbestos abatement contractor.
