This is the kitchen of an historic home built in the early 1900’s. The original room was very small and inefficient, located next to a cramped, unheated porch. The goal was to turn the kitchen into a more spacious area with increased natural lighting that flowed easily into the family room… all while maintaining the original character of the home. The addition of a 12’ French sliding window and picture windows over the sink allow for plenty of natural light. Interior and exterior trim from the original time period were crafted to maintain the integrity of the home.
