One of the things that
made this project unique was not to have any audio video components
(including the projector) visible in the room. All the acoustical wall
panels, custom columns, wood millwork and projector enclosure were
design and fabricated in house. In the rear of the room they created a
space to locate the projector...outside the room in a mechanical closet.
By changing the standard lens to a long throw lens, they were able to
move the projector far enough back to totally hide it from sight.
Room-matching decorative acoustic panels were placed throughout the room
to match the aesthetic and add sound absorption. This elegant Art Deco
home theater incorporates all the history, glamour and excitement of
Hollywood to bring the maximum movie experience right into the home.
