A newly ‘empty nest’ couple challenged mackmiller design+build to convert their typical suburban home from one that worked for their family to one that would function as an entertaining and party mecca.  The homeowners are a fun-loving, Harley-riding couple wanting to squeeze every ounce of fun from life that they can. Young empty nesters, their home no longer worked for them.  Particular areas addressed were creating a covered front entry, a more friend-friendly foyer, opening the sunroom to the home, moving the powder room to a better location, organizing laundry and mudroom and making a larger kitchen conducive to entertaining.
