This family wanted a
dream kitchen, a larger mudroom area, more storage, a more accessible
dining room and more comfortable bedrooms for the children. The only
answer to address all these things was an addition. The home had
balconies that were never used and were overshadowed by a 42" cantilever
from above. By expanding each level of the home into just this 42" space,
everything they wanted was accomplished. The kitchen is now twice the
original size with plenty of cabinetry and counter tops. There is a
larger mudroom, and the upstairs bedrooms and connecting hallway now
make sense.
