This 1930’s house had a
typical screened porch on the side with brick columns, flat roof and
broken tile porch floor that was all original. While it had a great
view, they could only use it a few weeks of the year. The new plan
created a year round sunroom while incorporating a maintenance free
exterior and modern amenities inside. The final design incorporated
triple fixed casement windows with transoms and a triple French door
unit on the rear. The exterior trim and siding panels are all Hardi
Plank including the applied trim below the windows.
