2006 Design/Build Kitchen Remodel

The existing kitchen was
too small for this large home. The clients wanted more space and a more
updated look. by reversing the old kitchen's layout and creating an
entrance to a new Hearth Room where the old sink was located, a new
design was developed that met all their wants and needs. A large center
island with granite counters provides plenty of counter space and
seating, along with two warming drawers and a secondary sink. The mantle
hood over the cook top, lined in Jerusalem stone, was custom designed to
mirror the fireplace surround in their new Hearth Room. The glazed maple
cabinets are a perfect complement to the cherry cabinets used on the
island and butler's pantry.
