These
clients wanted a bath that would be a soothing escape from the city.
Part of the solution was to use a natural color palate of soft warm
earth tones. In addition the contrast of smooth limestone on the floors
and walls to the rough stone wall behind the tub mimic contrasts found
in the outside world. Clean lines and simplicity are found throughout
the space. Repetition of the square and rectangular shapes are found in
the tiles, custom vanity, wooden sinks, mirrors, and lighting fixtures.
A rain sky fixture in the ceiling is complimented with multiple
showerheads. A stacked stone wall hides all necessary plumbing and
brings texture and a focal point to the space. The shower area is lit
from the ceiling as well as the floor.
